Job description

Project we run: Digital health product company building certified medical software and DiGA solutions used in patient care across Germany. Self financed, stable, with a small senior engineering team and modern JavaScript stack.

The Role

You join the application development team as a Senior Full Stack Developer working on prescription grade digital health products.

Key responsibilities:

  • Implement product requirements end to end with Angular, Node.js, Meteor and MongoDB

  • Work in and extend a large existing codebase with high quality, maintainable code.

  • Translate regulatory and medical requirements into user stories and features.

  • Participate in git workflow, pull requests, and structured code reviews.

  • Ensure compliance with quality, regulatory, and IT security standards for medical software.

  • Contribute to ongoing improvements of architecture and development processes.

Non Negotiable Requirements

Only candidates who clearly meet all of the following will be considered:

  • German:C2 certified or native speaker. No self assessed levels.

  • Experience and stability:Minimum five years of professional experience, with a maximum of two job changes in that period. Frequent job hopping is an exclusion criterion.

  • Fullstack:Proven fullstack profile. Frontend only experience is not sufficient.

  • Tech stack:

    • Node.js as a core backend skill.

    • Current Angular as a core frontend skill. AngularJS alone is not enough.

If one of these points is not met, the profile will not be forwarded for this role.

Additional Must Haves

  • At least four years of full time application development, or at least two years working with Angular, Meteor, Node.js, or MongoDB in production.

  • Strong hands on work with the listed stack in real projects.

  • Fluent German at minimum C1 for regulatory texts and daily collaboration.

  • Solid experience with collaborative git workflows and code reviews.

  • High quality standards, autonomous working style, and willingness to work regularly on site in Erlangen.

Nice To Have

  • Deeper MongoDB knowledge, Cypress, Docker.

  • Experience with FHIR, telematics infrastructure, or other eHealth standards.

  • Native mobile apps and Bluetooth integration.

Offer

  • Base salary from about 55 000 euro up to 75 000 euro for very strong profiles.

  • Profit sharing with four figure potential, plus additional bonus schemes.

  • Permanent contract, full time 40 hours per week, 32 hours possible on request.
