About the role:

As aSenior Fitter, you will be responsible for positioning, aligning, fabricating, and assembling metal components and structures in accordance with engineering drawings and technical specifications. The role includes preparation of components for welding and, where applicable, assembly of nuclear components within theClean Condition Room (CCR). You will contribute directly to manufacturing quality, safety, and efficiency within a highly regulated nuclear fabrication environment. This is afull-time, individual contributor position, performed100% onsite.

You will report to theNuclear Fabrication Managerand be located inMonfalcone, Italy. This role isfully onsite.

Key Responsibilities:

• Position, align, and assemble metal components (e.g. shells, top and bottom heads, nozzles) using hand tools and equipment according to drawings and layout specifications
• Verify conformity of assembled and prepared parts against drawings and technical requirements using appropriate measuring instruments
• Read and interpret technical documentation (drawings, assembly sequences, WPS) to assemble fabricated structures and prepare joints for welding
• Handle and position manufactured parts manually or using lifting equipment such as hoists and overhead cranes
• Perform shaping, cutting, chamfering, grinding, drilling, and bending activities required for component assembly
• Assemble components in theClean Condition Room (CCR)when applicable
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards related tosafety, quality, risk, and security

Qualifications:

• Education:
  • Diploma from aprofessional school or technical high school
  • Senior level requiresminimum5 yearsof experience as a Fitter
  • Italian and/or Englishfluency
