As a powerhouse in the manufacturing and metals industry, they offer a dynamic environment where large-scale industrial projects drive international growth.Job SummaryWe are seeking a Senior Finance Executive (Project Costing) to join a high-performing corporate team in Setia Alam. This role is unique in its evolution: you will initially spearhead financial oversight for major construction projects and, upon project completion, transition into a broader operational finance and reporting role. This is an ideal opportunity for a bilingual finance professional with an audit background who enjoys a mix of project-based work and corporate accounting.Job ResponsibilitiesProject Costing & Budgetary ControlBudget Oversight: Manage end-to-end project budgets, from initial setup through to final post-mortem analysis.Expense Validation: Track and audit all project-related expenditures to ensure strict alignment with approved budgets.Variance Analysis: Perform deep-dive analysis on cost trends to identify potential savings and mitigate financial risks.Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with Procurement and Operations teams to streamline financial transactions.Stakeholder Communication: Manage budget tracking and report communication with stakeholders, utilizing written Chinese proficiency.General Finance & AccountingFinancial Closing: Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, including the preparation of General Ledger (GL) entries.Strategic Planning: Contribute to business-wide forecasting and strategic budgeting initiatives.Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to internal controls and prepare comprehensive management reports focusing on project profitability.Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance cost-tracking methodologies during the transition from construction to operational phases.RequirementsEducation: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance; Professional qualifications (ACCA, ICAEW, or equivalent) are highly preferred.Experience: 3–5 years in project accounting or corporate finance. Prior experience in Audit (specifically within property or construction sectors) is a significant advantage.Language Skills: Mandatory proficiency in reading and writing Chinese to facilitate communication with regional stakeholders.Technical Skills: Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and hands-on experience with Tier-1 ERP systems (SAP or Oracle).Mobility: Based in Setia Alam with the flexibility to travel to Jakarta as required by project milestones.Soft Skills: A detail-oriented mindset with the analytical capability to handle complex financial data.
