Database Administrator (DBA)Job OverviewiCareManager is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Database Administrator (DBA) to join our growing technology team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Azure SQL Managed Instance, and Power BI, along with hands-on experience in database performance tuning, High Availability and Disaster Recovery (HADR), and cloud-based database environments.This role requires someone who can manage mission-critical databases, ensure high performance and availability, and support reporting and analytics initiatives across the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesManage, monitor, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL database environmentsConfigure and support Always On Availability Groups and HADR solutionsPerform database backup, recovery, maintenance, and disaster recovery planningOptimize database performance through query tuning and indexing strategiesManage SQL Server hosted on Virtual Machines (Dedicated Host) and Azure SQL Managed InstanceDevelop and maintain SSRS and Power BI reports and dashboardsSupport database migrations, upgrades, and patch management activitiesCollaborate with development, infrastructure, and analytics teams to support business requirementsMonitor database security, integrity, and availabilityTroubleshoot and resolve database-related incidents and performance issuesAssist in ETL processes and data warehousing initiativesRequirementsRequired Skills & QualificationsStrong experience with:Microsoft SQL Server 2016 / 2019 / 2022Azure SQL Managed InstancePostgreSQLBigQuery AnalyticsPower BIHands-on expertise in:HADR / Always On Availability GroupsListener configurationSSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services)Query optimization and performance tuningDatabase backup and recoveryPower BI reporting and analyticsDatabase migration and upgradesGood understanding of:Azure infrastructure and servicesWindows Server administrationETL processesData warehousing conceptsPowerShell scripting (preferred)Preferred QualificationsExperience managing production-scale database environmentsStrong troubleshooting and analytical skillsExcellent communication and documentation abilitiesExperience working in cloud-based infrastructure environmentsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentBenefitsA dynamic and collaborative work environment.Opportunities for professional growth and skill development.Competitive salary and benefits package.The chance to play a key role in revolutionizing the healthcare technology industry
