Job description

Job Description & Summary

Are you intrigued by operating models and eager to improve operational efficiency in an M&A environment? Do you want to apply your analytical mindset on high-impact deals for leading Private Equity clients? Join our Delivering Deal Value (DDV) team within PwC's Deals practice — the most successful deals practice in the Netherlands. You'll work on operational due diligence and value creation projects for corporate and private equity clients, in a diverse and international team. You'll gain direct exposure to top-tier PE clients, a global network, and challenging projects where your recommendations directly impact deal outcomes.

This is what you'll do
You'll be part of an inclusive, experienced advisory team that supports corporate and private equity firms in identifying, quantifying and delivering full deal value — with greater speed, insight and confidence. You'll work on challenging client assignments in both pre- and post-deal phases, using the latest technology including AI-tools, and grow in an environment where coaching and personal development are central.

Our approach combines industry experience with data analytics and practical sector knowledge. Projects typically start early in the deal cycle and deliver concrete operational upsides that directly influence the deal offer. In your role, you will:

  • Identify operational gaps at leading businesses and provide recommendations that drive value creation;

  • Develop implementation plans and quantify savings using a driver-based approach and industry benchmarking data;

  • Drive transformation initiatives with a focus on short- and long-term value realization;

  • Manage client relationships at both executive and operational level throughout all project phases;

  • Contribute to our core services: Operational Due Diligence, Pre-deal Value Creation, and Carve-out support.

You recognize yourself in this
You are analytical, commercially minded and enjoy working closely with clients and colleagues in a dynamic deal environment. You communicate clearly, take initiative, and know how to motivate people around you to deliver high-quality advice.

  • At least 4 years of relevant experience in (deals) consulting, operational performance improvement, corporate M&A teams, COO support roles or specialized operations consulting;

  • A university degree in Business Administration, Science, Finance, Engineering or a related discipline;

  • Solid understanding of one or more core operational functions (e.g. Finance, Supply Chain, Working Capital, Procurement, Sales);

  • Comfortable working with and interpreting financial information;

  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken; professional level of Dutch is highly appreciated.

What we offer

With us, you’ll have the chance to be yourself, perform at your best in a high-performance organization, and grow within our global network. We offer you, among other things:

  • A competitive salary based on your experience, an annual bonus (depending on results and personal development), and the opportunity to grow;

  • A motivating work environment where collaboration with ambitious colleagues and recognition for your contributions are central;

  • A wide range of tailored training via our AI-based Growth Center, linked to skills and goals and focused on professional growth and leadership development;

  • Choose the mobility option that suits you best: an electric lease car or a mobility allowance for your business travel costs, plus access to various mobility providers via one convenient app;

  • 29 vacation days and the option to purchase additional days;

  • At PwC, your well-being is our priority. That’s why we offer a personal well-being budget to help you grow in physical and mental health, as well as access to the well-being platform OpenUp;

  • You’ll work on challenging and meaningful client projects, use cutting-edge technology such as AI-tools, learn from the best, and receive support through coaching. Together, we work as an inclusive team to make a real impact;

  • You work at client locations and our office, with flexibility for hybrid working where possible;

  • A monthly net expense allowance for internet and other costs;

  • YoungPwC: You’ll have the chance to network and exchange knowledge. The experience and tips from colleagues will greatly benefit you as a young PwC professional and help you achieve your ambitions;

  • Possibility to participate in projects of communities such as I&D, art initiatives, Giving Back etc;

  • Fun extras such as various informal company and team activities.

These are just a handful of our terms of employment. Find more information on our website.
