Ayvens Internal Audit is seeking a talented and curious professional to join its international team as a Senior Internal Auditor. Whether your background is in Internal Audit, Risk Management, Compliance, Internal Control, Finance or another control-related function, this role offers a unique opportunity to develop a comprehensive understanding of Ayvens' activities, risks and strategic priorities.

As a Senior Internal Auditor, you will assess governance, risk management and control frameworks across a leading global mobility and automotive leasing group. You will assess key risks, challenge existing practices and support management in strengthening business processes and controls.

The role offers significant exposure to senior stakeholders, cross-functional collaboration and opportunities for professional growth within Ayvens. This role is suited to an experienced audit or risk professional who combines strong analytical skills, sound judgement and clear communication with the ability to work effectively in an international environment.

Regular travel within France and internationally is required (2 to 3 weeks per quarter).

Key Responsibilities

Audit and Assurance Activities

• Evaluate the effectiveness of governance, risk management and internal control frameworks.

• Independently plan and deliver audit assignments or designated workstreams within agreed timelines and quality standards.

• Assess key risks, evaluate the control framework, and identify process improvement opportunities.

• Analyse processes, controls, and data to assess business performance and risk exposure.

• Develop clear, pragmatic, and value-adding audit issues.

• Prepare high-quality audit documentation and reports.

• Ensure effective follow-up and closure of audit issues.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Build constructive relationships with business stakeholders while maintaining independence and objectivity.

• Communicate audit observations and recommendations clearly and effectively.

• Escalate significant risks, control deficiencies and emerging issues when required.

• Work closely with Audit Managers and other audit team members.

Leadership and Development

• Coach and support junior auditors.

• Review and validate audit work performed by team members (when acting as Audit Lead).

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of audit methodologies, tools and practices.

Audit Lead Responsibilities (when appointed)

• Lead end-to-end audit engagements.

• Coordinate planning, fieldwork, reporting and stakeholder management.

• Act as the primary point of contact for auditees.

• Present audit conclusions and issue final audit reports

Profile

• 5 years or more of relevant experience in Internal Audit, Risk Management, Compliance, Internal Control, Operational Risk, Finance, Business Control or a related function.

• Master's degree in Audit, Finance, Business, Engineering or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of professional qualifications and relevant experience.

• Knowledge of automotive leasing, fleet management, financing activities or other financial services businesses is an advantage.

• Understanding of governance, risk management and internal control principles.

• Experience managing internal audit projects, reviews, investigations or assurance activities.
