Job Description
As a Security Officer with DoD Clearance in Gilbert, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Allied Universal is seeking an Unarmed Patrol Officer to support a dynamic aerospace and defense location. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help to deter incidents, respond to alarms, and support access control activities while providing exceptional customer service and communication. - Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas, reporting unusual conditions and potential security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and support visitor, vehicle, and credential-verification processes in accordance with site requirements.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation protocols.
- Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation while communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Possess an active Department of Defense Secret clearance.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
