A secondary school in Sutton is looking for a Science Technician to become part of its science department from October.

You’ll be working behind the scenes to keep practical lessons running smoothly, preparing resources, looking after equipment and supporting staff across Biology, Chemistry and Physics.

About the Role

The successful candidate will:

  • Prepare materials and equipment for practical lessons.

  • Set up experiments and demonstrations.

  • Maintain and organise laboratory equipment.

  • Keep track of stock and arrange supplies when needed.

  • Support teachers with practical activities.

  • Carry out routine checks and report any issues with equipment.

  • Keep laboratories and preparation areas safe and organised.
