Core Responsibilities

• Assemble apparatus and prepare solutions, chemicals, and biological specimens for student experiments.

• Clear away equipment safely after lessons, washing up glassware and returning items to storage.

• Conduct routine maintenance, safety inspections, and electrical testing of laboratory equipment.

• Monitor chemical stocks, waste disposal, and safety data sheets according to COSHH rules.

• Support teachers in maintaining a safe, clean, and stimulating learning workspace.

About You

• Background in science (biology, chemistry, or physics) through education or employment.
