Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA E-Invoicing Functional Consultant to join our growing SAP practice in the Netherlands. In this role, you will lead the design and implementation of e-invoicing and real-time reporting solutions within SAP S/4HANA, ensuring compliance with European regulatory requirements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to deliver robust, scalable, and compliant e-invoicing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the functional design of e-invoicing solutions using SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC) integrated with S/4HANA
• Design and configure e-invoicing flows for country-specific compliance and real-time reporting requirements
• Configure and manage the SAP eDocument Framework
• Enable local compliance by implementing e-invoicing requirements across multiple European countries (3–4 preferred)
• Perform functional mapping of source documents including FI-AR, FI-AP, SD Billing, and MM invoicing to DRC eDocuments
• Ensure accurate mapping of tax codes, partner functions, and posting logic
• Define and implement validation and enrichment rules using BRF+ and related tools
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to define data enrichment logic and compliance validations prior to submission to authorities
• Drive testing and certification activities, working closely with QA teams and business users
• Ensure cross-functional integration with Finance, Tax, SD, and MM modules for end-to-end process compliance
• Provide expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance and Management Accounting, supporting broader finance transformation initiatives

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI) and Management Accounting (CO)
• Proven expertise in SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC) and eDocument Framework
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing e-invoicing solutions
• Solid understanding of European e-invoicing regulations and compliance frameworks
• Experience with BRF+ for validation and business rules configuration
• Strong knowledge of FI-AR, FI-AP, SD, and MM integration
• Experience working in cross-functional, international project environments
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with multi-country e-invoicing implementations within Europe
• Familiarity with real-time reporting requirements and government platforms
• SAP certification in S/4HANA Finance or related areas is a plus
