You will write clean, well-tested Rails code against PostgreSQL databases, participate in code reviews and technical discussions, and collaborate with stakeholders to define and fulfill API requirements. The role is remote with a required 4-hour overlap with MDT for LatAm candidates.WHAT YOU WILL DO- Design, develop, and maintain APIs using Ruby on Rails.- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand API requirements and specifications.- Ensure API performance, scalability, and security.- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize API performance.MUST HAVES- 3+ years of experience working with Ruby on Rails.- Strong command of API design patterns and best practices in Rails.- Solid understanding of HTTP protocols and JSON data structures.- Experience with relational databases, e.g. PostgreSQL.- Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a remote setup.- In terms of working hours: The role will mostly follow the LATAM time zone, with a required 4-hour overlap with Colorado (MDT).
