OPEN JOB: RN Nurse Manager – Surgery (Main OR) LOCATION: Santa Rosa, California BASE SALARY: $167,974 to $265,150 IDEAL CANDIDATE: Experience working in an RN hospital leadership role, such as Charge RN, Assistant Nurse Manager, or Nurse Manage At least two (2) years of experience working as an Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) in an acute care hospital setting The salary range is very wide and salary would be dependent on experience. JOB DESCRIPTION Nurse Manager - MAIN OR. This position is Full-Time and will work 8-hour Day shifts. RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides an optimal practice environment that ensures the delivery of quality patient care. Responsible for planning, directing and managing the nursing care delivered to a designated patient population. Oversees the 24-hour operation of the patient care unit with accountability for leadership, overall fiscal management, staffing, planning, organizing and controlling. Role models proactive, collaborative working relationships across all hospital functions in an interdisciplinary approach to patient care. Develops programs, policies, procedures, and standards of care to ensure patients' nursing care needs are assessed, evaluated and met.
