Job detailsApplication formSalary: $90,000 - $120,000OverviewShinkei Systems is a vertically integrated seafood robotics and CPG company producing premium “Seremoni Grade” fish through a technology-enabled supply chain. We are looking for a Sales Analyst to support commercial decision-making across retail, food service, and distribution channels.This role sits at the intersection of sales, operations, and finance, helping turn raw sales data into actionable insights that improve revenue performance, margin, forecasting accuracy, and customer execution.What You’ll DoSales Performance & ReportingOwn weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reporting across all channels (retail, foodservice, wholesale)Track revenue performance vs. forecast, budget, and prior periodsBuild dashboards that surface SKU, customer, and channel-level performanceMonitor pricing, promotions, and trade spend effectivenessForecasting & Demand InsightsSupport demand forecasting in partnership with Sales, Supply Chain, and FinanceIdentify demand trends by SKU, seasonality, geography, and customerFlag risks and opportunities in production planning (especially during fishing seasonality cycles)Margin & Pricing AnalysisAnalyze gross margin by product, customer, and channelSupport pricing strategy with scenario modeling (price changes, promos, volume tiers)Partner with Finance on cost-to-serve and contribution margin analysisCommercial Decision SupportProvide analysis for key account reviews and sales meetingsEvaluate customer performance and identify expansion opportunitiesSupport launch planning for new SKUs and retail/foodservice expansionData & SystemsImprove data quality across ERP, sales systems, and reporting toolsBuild scalable reporting tools (Excel, BI dashboards, or equivalent systems)Standardize KPI definitions across teams (revenue, yield, margin, DIFOT, etc.)What Success Looks Like (KPIs)Forecast accuracy improved (month-over-month and seasonally adjusted)Clear visibility into SKU-level margin and profitabilityFaster weekly sales reporting cycle (reduced manual reporting time)Increased revenue realization vs. forecastImproved pricing and promotional ROI clarityWhat We’re Looking ForRequired2–5 years in sales analytics, FP&A, supply chain analytics, or business intelligenceStrong Excel / Google Sheets modeling skillsExperience working with large datasets and building dashboardsComfort working cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, and OperationsAbility to translate data into clear business recommendationsPreferredExperience in CPG, food, agriculture, seafood, or perishable goodsFamiliarity with demand planning or inventory-driven businessesExposure to ERP systems or sales tools (NetSuite, Shopify, Salesforce, etc.)Basic SQL or BI tool experience (Looker, Tableau, Power BI)Core TraitsHighly analytical, but grounded in operational realityComfortable in fast-moving, imperfect data environmentsStrong ownership mindset, doesn’t wait for perfect inputs and proactively asks questions to relevant stakeholders.Clear communicator who can simplify complex insightsExcited by mission-driven food systems and real-world impactApply for this positionAutofill from resumeSave time by uploading your resume.
