Restaurant Technician Position Lafayette

Location: 1681 BARATARIA BLVD, MARRERO, LA, 70072 We are looking for a self-starter Field service technician todeliver the desired customer service experience. The goal is to drivesatisfaction by routine performed maintenance while providing technical supportwithin the Marks Organization McDonald’s restaurants. Travel between three McDonald's restaurants in Henderson, Lafayette, & Port Barre, La.. The Technician must possess the ability totrouble-shoot and work to resolve issues with the least amount of disruption todaily service in the restaurant, maximizing customer retention to increasesprofitability.Job Responsibilities:· Performs mechanical tasks and or projectsincluding, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, troubleshooting, andrepair of production machines.· Maintenance Technician will oversee plannedmaintenance and emergency repairs of the restaurant decor, cooking equipment,refrigeration equipment, heating and air condition, lot & lobby, andoverseeing overall store cleanliness and maintenance. · Executes daily work orders, including but notlimited to preventative maintenance, installation of new equipment, and majoritywill be equipment repairs.· Calling equipment companies to provide technicalsupport Identifying and communicating parts needed to repair tools andequipment.· Observing all safety rules and maintain a cleanand orderly working areaRequirements: 1 to 3 years of experience High School diploma or equivalent & Vocational trainingExperience in HVAC , mechanics, electricity, plumbing, hydraulics, and/or using a variety of hand tools and machines.Technical and mechanical knowledgeMust be able to follow Verbal & Electronic instructions/descriptionAbility to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor for hours at a time Ability to travel between store locationsAbility to adapt to dynamic work schedules and flexible shiftsSuperb customer service, communication and self-management skills
