Is this your next challenge in responsible & ethical sourcing?The challenge is to:Support the Responsible & Ethical Sourcing team in:-implementing initiatives and strategies to support DFI’s sustainability agendaconducting research, develop, and implement policies for each workstream to deliver the objectives of each sustainability focus areagathering data to support sustainability initiativesSupport the Responsible & Ethical Sourcing Assistant Manager for factory ethical audit management and non-compliance queries - both internal and external in providing key information and supporting background materialsConduct research to understand the challenges within Own Brand supply chains and support the policy and tool implementationHelp with tracking of tasks/KPIs and regular progress reports to support the governance of the roadmaps to ensure implementation to agreed time bound commitmentsSupport supplier and internal communication – educating teams on Ethical challenges and processes Do you have experience in responsible & ethical sourcing?Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Business, Supply Chain Management, Social Sciences, Law, Environmental Studies or a related discipline is preferred, with relevant internship, supplier ethical compliance, audit coordination or responsible sourcing experience.Minimum 1 year of relevant experience with knowledge of ethical and sustainable sourcing, environmental management and circular economy principles in relation to product supply chains in Western markets and local markets such as ASEAN and China will be beneficial.Awareness of Ethical Audit methodologies and platforms (SMETA, SEDEX, AmforiBSCI etc.) is highly desirableStrong written and verbal communication skills (English essential)Fluent in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Passionate in ethical and sustainability related subjectsDemonstrated ability to work independently, work under pressure, and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlinesExcellent organizational and prioritisation skills with the ability to manage multiple projects with demonstrated flexibility and adaptabilityExcellent communication skills, able to communicate and collaborate across teams and levels; with the ability to present coherently and succinctlyFlexible and adaptable in ways of thinking, and strong project management skills DFI Retail Group is a leading Asian retailer, driven by its purpose to “Sustainably Serve Asia for Generations with Everyday Moments”. Do you have experience in responsible & ethical sourcing?
Do you have experience in responsible & ethical sourcing?- Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Business, Supply Chain Management, Social Sciences, Law, Environmental Studies or a related discipline is preferred, with relevant internship, supplier ethical compliance, audit coordination or responsible sourcing experience.
