Endoscopy: Experience the highly appealing aspect of short-term healthcare. If you’re looking for a consistent schedule, eight-hour shifts, and a Monday-Friday work week, one of these units may be for you. Each of these units are moderately paced with a fast patient turnover. These units see a wide variety of patients, including post-surgical patients experiencing orthopedic, gastric bypass, urologic, and vascular surgeries, chemotherapy infusions, and endoscopies. The MAB area has 5 recovery rooms and 5 holding areas and has an appealing Monday-Friday schedule with no on-call. The outpatient infusion area has twelve chairs and has occasional on-call requirements. Preadmission Testing has one intake room and one lab room, and the appealing Monday through Friday schedule. With so many options and opportunities existing for cross-training and for learning and expanding your skillset in ambulatory care, these units are an ideal place to begin or further your career in ambulatory medicine. CentraState Medical Center currently has an employment opportunity available for a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Endoscopy Unit. The RN administers culturally sensitive nursing care in accordance with ANA standards, the NJ Practice Act, The Joint Commission, and CentraState policies, all grounded in evidence-based practice. Responsibilities include utilizing the nursing process to deliver patient-centered care and evaluating effectiveness through nurse-sensitive indicators and patient outcomes. On-call coverage for off-hours, weekends, and holidays is expected to support continuous, high-quality care.
