Job Description Conduct thorough title searches using county, municipal, and online public records.Research deeds, mortgages, liens, judgments, easements, tax records, and other recorded property documents.Compile complete, organized, and accurate title search packages for examination.Verify chains of title and identify documents affecting property ownership.Obtain copies of recorded documents and supporting records as needed.Communicate with county offices, municipalities, and other agencies to obtain required information.Maintain organized and accurate search records and complete assignments within established deadlines.Work closely with title examiners, attorneys, lenders, and real estate professionals throughout the transaction process.Research and resolve gaps or inconsistencies in property records to support efficient title examination. Qualifications 1+ year of real estate title abstracting experience.Familiarity with public land records and title searching procedures.Strong understanding of real estate transactions and title-related documents.Experience researching deeds, mortgages, liens, judgments, easements, and tax records.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Strong research, communication, and problem-solving abilities.Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines simultaneously.Proficiency with computers and online public record search platforms.Must be able to work on-site in Tonawanda, NY.
