We’ll look to you for:
Supporting L2 operational monitoring and managing incidents for assigned digital railway solutions
Investigating and resolving incidents using approved runbooks, escalating when necessary
Monitoring application health using tools like Dynatrace, responding to alerts, and reporting anomalies
Participating in OS patching activities, including scheduling, raising change requests, and validating application health
Maintaining and updating runbooks to ensure accuracy and completeness
Supporting new project onboarding by participating in knowledge transfer sessions
Participating in a 24x7 on-call rotation for critical incidents

Hands-on experience with IT technologies, including Linux, TCP/IP, Docker, and databases
Ability to apply systems engineering thinking to complex challenges
Experience managing incidents in live operational environments, including logging, triaging, resolving, and escalating
Experience with container and cloud technologies like Kubernetes, Azure, or AWS (nice to have)
Python or Bash scripting skills for operational tasks (nice to have)
Familiarity with observability tools such as Dynatrace or Grafana (nice to have)
Things you’ll enjoy Join us on a life-long transformative journey – the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career. You’ll also:
Enjoy stability, challenges, and a long-term career free from boring daily routines
Work with new security standards for rail signalling
Collaborate with transverse teams and helpful colleagues
Contribute to innovative projects
Utilise our flexible working environment
Steer your career in whatever direction you choose across functions and countries
Benefit from our investment in your development through award-winning learning
