QA Engineer - GenAI

Test Lead role in a hybrid work model focusing on end to end quality assurance for web services application programming interfaces and data validation for a global enterprise environment with emphasis on agile delivery practices strong version control discipline and robust defect prevention to support reliable customer facing solutions and internal platforms.

Responsibilities

• Drive comprehensive test strategy design for complex web services and application programming interfaces to ensure stable and scalable delivery in a global enterprise environment.
• Coordinate test planning activities across agile squads to align scope timelines and quality expectations with product goals and stakeholder priorities.
• Design detailed test cases and reusable test scenarios for Rest based services and integrated applications to validate functional accuracy and resilience.
• Execute manual and automated tests for application programming interfaces using tools such as Postman and SoapUI to ensure consistent behavior across environments.
• Analyze test results and production defects to identify root causes patterns and improvement opportunities that reduce incident rates and rework.
• Manage source controlled test assets in Git and Github by organizing branches reviewing changes and maintaining traceability between requirements and tests.
• Collaborate with developers product analysts and operations personnel in agile ceremonies to clarify requirements refine user stories and prioritize defects for resolution.
• Validate backend data integrity using structured query language by designing queries that confirm business rules transformations and reconciliations.
• Develop and maintain regression suites for critical Rest services and core business workflows to guard against unintended impacts from code changes.
• Implement efficient test data strategies using repeatable datasets and configuration patterns that accelerate test execution and support realistic coverage.
• Monitor quality metrics such as defect leakage test coverage and cycle time to provide clear insights into release readiness and continuous improvement opportunities.
• Mentor less experienced testers by reviewing test artefacts sharing good practices in agile quality engineering and promoting consistent standards across teams.
• Prepare clear status reports and risk summaries for product stakeholders that highlight test progress key issues and recommended mitigation actions.
• Align testing activities with organizational purpose by ensuring that high quality digital solutions improve customer experiences and support responsible business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Possess professional experience in agile methodologies with strong participation in iterations ceremonies and continuous improvement practices that support predictable delivery.
• Demonstrate hands on expertise using Github and Git for managing test artefacts collaborating via pull requests and maintaining clean branches for project work.
• Apply solid knowledge of web services testing by validating request and response structures headers and payloads across multiple environments.
• Show advanced skill in application programming interface testing using tools such as Postman and SoapUI to design collections environments and parameterized tests.
• Use structured query language confidently to validate data accuracy join complex tables and support investigative analysis for defects and performance issues.
• Exhibit practical experience with Rest interfaces including understanding of methods status codes and error handling patterns that influence test design.
• Bring familiarity with collections and recovery domain processes where available to better interpret business rules and assess risk critical scenarios.
• Display strong communication and collaboration skills suited to a hybrid work model by engaging effectively in both onsite and remote interactions.
