Job description
The online Grocery FMCG Sales Consultant will be responsible for the assessment of the commercial aspect of an existing Online Grocery Operation, driving sales growth and expanding market share in the FMCG Q-Commerce sector. This role requires a deep understanding of the FMCG industry, online grocery trends, and the ability to build strong relationships with both existing and new clients. The Sales Consultant will work closely with Department heads to identify opportunities, develop customized solutions, and ensure a seamless experience for their customers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement strategic sales plans tailored to the online grocery business to achieve company goals and objectives.
2. Assess current marketing policy and assist in developing a marketing plan that can support company expansion and increase customer acquisition
3. Assess and improve average basket value (ABV), assess and improve Customer Life Value (CLV)
4. Develop and implement discount policies that include but not limited to Promotional campaigns, near expiry campaigns, events and holidays campaigns
5. Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to management, including market trends, competitor analysis, and potential growth opportunities specific to the online grocery business.
6. Drive business requirements to improve website usability improvements (UX/ UI), including navigations, shopping and checkout experience
7. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to deliver exceptional service and support to clients in the online grocery sector.
8. Work closely with the Operations team to ensure the delivery of the best customer service and fulfilment that adhere to the various brands’ expectations
9. Reduce Customer Cost of acquisition & Customer monthly churn rate
10. Analyze current Product catalogue and make recommendation that can support the improvement of Gross profit and top line revenue
Requirements
- Industry Experience is a MUST- Same Position experience is a MUST
- Frequent travel is required to UAE & Iraq
- Fluency in English and Arabic written & spoken is a MUST.
