Scope of the project: Position is assigned within the Division ofTechnology Operations IT Planning and Administration Project Management unit.Under limited supervision, managesand coordinates strategic and tactical assignments and project managementactivities associated with state-wide enterprise level and agency-level information technology initiatives directed from the Divisionof Technology Operations and/or the Department of Administration. Coordinates project activities, deliverables, and deadlines with the Department of Administration's ProgramManagement Office, Division of Information Security, Enterprise Privacy Office, otherstate agencies, and with private sector professionals.Daily Duties / Responsibilities: Serves as a Division of Technology Operation'senterprise project manager for assigned projects. Use project managementmethodologies from inception through completion. Responsible for managingprojects and for coordinating with private sector professional project managersof assigned projects. Is also responsible for internal tracking of stateresources, project schedules, project deliverables, and for producing regular statusupdates and reports to management. At project conclusion, closes out eachproject in a timely and orderly manner, with documentation of lessons learned andarchiving of essential project documentation.Skills & Duties:1.
