Job Family Definition:

Customer Solution Centers are made up of teams that provide remote (offsite) service; customer access, pre-sales, post-sales, and service delivery. Technical teams focus is to solve various business systems and applications problems for customers, onsite engineering personnel and Authorized Service Providers on standard, specialized or complex systems.

Management Level Definition:

Applies developed subject matter knowledge to solve common and complex business issues and recommends appropriate alternatives. Works on problems of diverse complexity and scope. May act as a team or project leader providing direction to team activities and facilitates information validation and team decision making process. Exercises independent judgment to identify and select a solution. Ability to handle most unique situations. May seek advice in order to make decisions on complex business issues.

We are seeking an experienced NOC & SOC Operations Manager is responsible for leading and governing end-to-end Network Operations Centre (NOC), Security Operations Centre (SOC), Service Desk, and Monitoring Operations in a 24×7 managed services environment. The role ensures operational excellence, service reliability, security compliance, and customer satisfaction through effective service delivery, governance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead end-to-end NOC, SOC, Service Desk, and Monitoring Operations, ensuring alignment with customer business objectives and contractual commitments.

  • Manage Service Desk and Call Centre operations, including ticket lifecycle management, escalation governance, and customer communications.

  • Drive Incident Management, Major Incident Management, Problem Management, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and service restoration activities.

  • Govern operational performance through SLAs, SLOs, SLIs, KPIs, and service reporting frameworks.

  • Manage 24×7 service delivery operations, ensuring high availability, reliability, security, and customer satisfaction.

  • Lead Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) initiatives, including reliability engineering, error budget management, service resilience, and operational excellence.

  • Oversee Application Performance Monitoring (APM), observability, and proactive monitoring platforms to optimize application and infrastructure performance.

  • Manage EMS, SIEM, monitoring tools, event correlation, alert management, and operational dashboards.

  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, RFP requirements, organisational governance standards, statutory regulations, and audit requirements.

  • Lead cross-functional teams, define roles and responsibilities, and foster a high-performance culture aligned with project and operational objectives.

  • Manage workforce planning, team rosters, shift schedules, resource allocation, and competency development.

  • Coordinate with customers, stakeholders, vendors, OEMs, and internal teams to ensure timely resolution of operational and security issues.

  • Identify, assess, and manage operational risks, project dependencies, issues, and service improvement opportunities.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication, transparency, governance, and collaboration.

  • Monitor and report operational performance, project progress, service outcomes, and improvement initiatives to customer and leadership teams.

  • Manage customer governance forums, operational reviews, service reporting, and executive-level presentations.

  • Ensure adherence to ITIL processes, including Event Management, Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, and Service Request Management.

What you need to bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field
  • 10–15 years of proven experience in project management, delivering medium to large-scale IT/business projects.
  • NOC, SOC, Helpdesk Operations
  • SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) and APM
  • APM (Application Process Monitoring) and Observability practices
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
