Job description
Managing and leading the project team-including internal stakeholders, subcontractors, and consortium partners, as applicable-as well as coordinating with external interfaces for projects of up to high complexity.
- Manage and lead the project team to achieve and further improve the cost, schedule, quality and EHS targets
- Supervise the final negotiations for the allocated project and provides the execution strategy
- Ensures that the project schedule baseline is signed by the involved parties at the start of the project
- Perform proper risk and opportunity management
- Prepare and perform Project Reviews as requested, report according Bühler Project Management process
- Responsible for the site briefing meeting; Ensures that all site relevant documents are handed over to site personnel
- Ensure forecasting accuracy and monitor project KPIs including Schedule Performance Index (SPI) and Cost Performance Index (CPI), timely Turnover (TO) and manual TO Pulls if needed, to drive project success
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Engineering
- Minimum 4 years as Project Manager or proof of sufficient skills (full cycle project management)
- Plant Engineering experience preferred
- Preferably PMI/PMP Certification
- Strong planning, organizing and priority setting skills, with a proven ability to manage teams
- Ability to work in a matrix organization
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong teamwork and leadership skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to interface effectively with people inside and outside of the company
