A day in the life:

The Digital Marketing Project Manager will play an integral part in the overall success of our account team’s delivery and service to our clients, serving as the communications and coordinating hub between team members and the client. This role will report directly into the Client Experience team,, and will be supported by Power’s Project Management Office (PMO).

This role will be an exceptional client-facing project manager, skilled at managing and delivering digital marketing deliverables and solutions from inception to completion. They will become part of a high-performing team that gets client deliverables completed on time, on budget and with the highest standards of quality while working in a dynamic, fast-paced and forward thinking agency environment. Working closely with clients and account teams, this role will manage multiple concurrent accounts, service lines and multi-disciplinary teams to meet our client’s strategic and tactical marketing objectives. As a key member of the account team, this role will be proactive, have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and be confident in your ability to meticulously organize and keep your deliverables moving forward on-time without compromising quality. They will keep all stakeholders up to date with progress and overcoming all of the inevitable challenges along the way.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple concurrent accounts, service lines, deliverables and cross-functional team members via web-based project management software (Asana) and various communication channels
  • Create and execute deliverable plans, and revise as appropriate to meet continuously changing needs and requirements
  • Oversee all aspects of deliverable management: scope, risk, schedule, quality, and communication to stakeholders’ fullest satisfaction
  • Support account calls through detailed recaps, captured action items, Asana task assignments and diligent follow-up on action items
  • Evaluate new work requests, identify resources needed, assign individual responsibilities, and schedule action items
  • Provide regular updates and progress reports to internal teams and/or client stakeholders
  • Conduct risk management and escalate internally within the account team to proactively mitigate issues
  • Identify areas for improvement with internal and external processes along with possible solutions

Role Requirements:

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience leading projects and supporting client deliverables in a digital marketing agency environment
  • Strong proficiency with Asana as a work management platform
  • CAPM, CSM, PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, or equivalent preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Subject matter familiarity in digital marketing (e.g.: SEO, SEM, Content Marketing, Display, Feeds, Paid Social, Analytics, etc.)
  • Able to thrive in fast-paced environments and embrace change
  • Professional approach and comfort with conflict management and mediation
  • Ability to direct teams effectively in task prioritization and execution as well as facilitation of multiple projects simultaneously within a high-pressure environment
  • Excellent diplomatic, interpersonal, negotiation and communications skills with tenacity to solve internal and client problems quickly
  • Process driven, highly organized and methodical with excellent time management skills, strong business ethics, and political awareness
  • An enthusiastic and committed attitude, flexible problem-solver, open to participate and promote change within the organization
  • Self-starter with ability to think independently and work autonomously

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Consistent adoption of PMO templates and processes
  • Documented time savings achieved through PM task/work ownership
  • Projects/deliverables completed and delivered on-time

Most Important Things (MITs)

  • Ensuring on-time delivery of all supported digital marketing deliverables
  • Establishing operational and project management best practices on supported accounts
  • Maintaining ongoing communication between the client and account team regarding the status of all projects and deliverables
