Project Engineer

The Project Engineer is responsible for executing construction activities in accordance with approved drawings and schedules, actively addressing design issues through RFIs. With a focus on quality, safety, and compliance, they coordinate with subcontractors, conduct material testing, and ensure efficient labor management, contributing to the successful completion and handover of projects in alignment with project requirements.

• Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years in construction within UAE / GCC.
• Proven managerial experience in completing and handing over large projects for a reputed organization.
• Ability to lead and manage employees, sub-contractor labour etc.
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset

• Meticulous and detail-oriented working style

  DESIRABLE: Safety and Quality–related certifications are preferred.

• Executes the work at site as per the construction program, approved drawings, method statement etc. Seeks clarification of drawings / design issues through Request for Information (RFIs)
• Follows project schedule and program of work. Incorporates revisions and changes into the construction program and the sequence of work if needed by providing solutions for deviations or discrepancies.
• Coordinates with subcontractors and suppliers regarding quality and safety standards and ensures compliance.
• Understands and meets Quality and HSE requirements for construction including good housekeeping.
• Conducts material and concrete testing as required
• Co-ordinates with QC, Site Engineer and Project Manager to control the weekly labour cost and quality of the work. Conducts inspections to ensure compliance with the approved drawings.
• Follows labour allocation, productivity of workers etc. and ensures their safety and welfare including the issue of PPE.
• Completes and hands over the works as per the project requirements
