Product Test Engineer - Digital Processors and Sensors characterization, up to Staff
Job description
Product and Test Development Engineering (PDTE) is looking for an experienced Digital Processors and Sensors characterization Engineer who develops test and characterization solutions in support of New Product Introduction (Silicon Validation and Characterization) and Manufacturing Enablement of Qualcomm Silicon on Chip (SOC) products. The position offers growth/specialization opportunities within Digital Test Engineering. The individuals selected for this position will need to be able to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment and be passionate about delivering quality work, driving efficiency improvement initiatives and lessons learnt. The engineer will also handle technical issue escalations and communication with management.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. Master of Electrical Engineering Preferred.
Requirements
Minimum 6 years of industry experience as a Product and Test Development engineer with working knowledge of Processors or Sensors performance characterization and ATE test program development.
Understanding of VLSI technologies, familiarity with Digital Baseband products
Proficiency in programming language C/C++/VB/Java/Python is a plus.
Proficiency in AI programming tools (e.g. Claude Code) is a plus.
Experience with data analytic tools such as O+, Data Power, Exensio and Machine Learning basics will be an added advantage.
Familiarity with Digital Communication concepts. Knowledge of Semiconductor Physics.
Ability to work with Automated Test Equipment (ATE), Advantest 93K is preferred.
