We are looking for a Product Manager to help shape and deliver digital services that make a real difference to the people and businesses we serve. You will be part of a high-performing team driving digital transformation, building innovative and user-centric products from the ground up while ensuring the reliable operation of existing platforms. This is a hands-on role that spans the full product lifecycle — from strategy and development through to operations and continuous improvement. What you will be working on: Product Strategy and Vision Work with product owners and business partners to establish a clear product vision for new initiatives, define mission statements, and secure stakeholder buy-in.Develop go-to-market strategies and outreach plans to drive product adoption. Product Development and Operations Design, test, and iterate through experiments to improve user journeys for new products whilst maintaining operational excellence for existing digital platforms.Manage product budgets, develop workplans with product teams, and procure necessary resources including software, hardware, and professional services.Ensure continuous service availability and performance optimisation for live products. Insight-Driven Product Management Leverage user research, analytics, and operational data to inform product decisions and enhance user experiences.Implement frameworks for tracking product performance and translate insights into actionable improvements and measurable business value. Quality and Compliance Ensure products meet relevant quality, performance, and compliance standards throughout the product lifecycle.Coordinate with technical and governance teams to address risks and embed best practices from development through to live operations. Cross-functional Collaboration Translate product strategy into actionable technical plans for business and vendor teams.Coordinate efforts across functions including marketing, legal, and finance.Support developers in exploring emerging tools and techniques whilst maintaining the stability of production systems. Growth and Maintenance Drive user adoption for new features through increased engagement whilst ensuring reliable service delivery for existing users.Build networks with key stakeholders and partner teams for collaboration opportunities.Participate in public-facing activities to raise product awareness.Oversee maintenance schedules, updates, and incident response for live products. Project Management and Governance Run efficient stakeholder meetings, prioritise and track deliverables for both new developments and operational tasks, and document key decisions.Manage service level agreements and operational metrics, and ensure products meet internal policy and governance requirements. What we are looking for: Essential requirements: Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related fieldMinimum 5 years of relevant experience in product management, IT business analysis, or application solution designAt least 3 years working directly with engineers, designers, and product managersExperience managing both product development and operational maintenanceStrong analytical, conceptualisation, and problem-solving skillsGood communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly and work effectively with stakeholders Preferred qualifications: Experience with modern product development practices including Agile, Cloud, Design Thinking, and Product-Centric DevelopmentExperience in service operations, incident management, and maintaining live digital servicesRelevant certifications such as CITPM, COMIT, PMP, or Certified Scrum MasterGovernment or regulated sector experienceProven track record of delivering results within defined timeframes whilst maintaining service reliability
