The Principal, Regional Talent Development is a high-impact individual contributor role responsible for designing and delivering innovative talent and learning solutions that address unique regional and business priorities across a global organization. This role partners closely with Talent Partners, HR leaders, Transformation teams, and business stakeholders to accelerate capability development, leadership effectiveness, culture activation, and organizational transformation in strategically important and high-growth markets. This is not a program administration role. It is a hands-on solution design and delivery position focused on identifying business needs, creating customized learning and talent development experiences, and driving measurable outcomes where global programs alone may not fully meet local requirements. The successful candidate will blend expertise in talent development, instructional design, organizational effectiveness, and AI-enabled learning practices to rapidly develop scalable, impactful solutions that strengthen workforce capability, enhance employee experience, and support business growth. Key Responsibilities Custom Talent Solutioning * Partner with Talent Partnering to co-create solutions beyond the global catalog, addressing specific business or regional needs * Rapidly design, prototype, and deploy fit-for-purpose talent solutions (workshops, learning journeys, interventions, toolkits) * Apply strong instructional design practices to ensure high-quality, scalable, and engaging experiences Regional Delivery & Localization * Design and deliver content tailored to local market needs, cultural nuances, and business priorities * Enable strategic support for hyper-growth sites, new country expansions, and critical transformation initiatives * Adapt global frameworks and content to improve local relevance and adoption Culture & Behavior Activation * Reinforce leadership behaviors and enterprise values through targeted, on-site engagement and interventions * Drive adoption of key platforms (e.g., LXP) and learning strategies by embedding them into local experiences * Partner with Transformation and Values teams to accelerate culture-shaping initiatives Targeted Program Enablement (Selective) * Provide limited support for global programs only when directly tied to a country-specific initiative or business need * Ensure any involvement enhances local impact, rather than duplicating or administrating global delivery Scope Boundaries (Critical to Role Clarity) * Not responsible for administration or operational delivery of global programs (e.g., English language learning, compliance training, AAP, etc.) * Focus is on high-value, customized solutioning, not standardized program execution * Operates within enterprise frameworks while retaining flexibility to meet unique local demands Core Capabilities & Skills Instructional Design & Learning Expertise * Advanced capability in instructional design, adult learning principles, and experience design * Ability to translate business needs into impactful learning and talent interventions AI-Enabled Solution Design * High degree of fluency in AI tools and approaches to rapidly design, personalize, and scale solutions * Leverages AI to accelerate content creation, improve quality, and adapt solutions for diverse audiences Speed & Agility * Demonstrated ability to move quickly from concept to execution * Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments with evolving priorities Ownership & Autonomy * Takes initiative and independently drives work forward with minimal direction * Operates within defined guardrails while exercising strong judgment and creativity Customer Partnership * Builds strong, trusted relationships across Talent Partnering, HR, and business leaders * Influences without authority and aligns collaborators around practical, high-impact solutions Global & Cross-Cultural Effectiveness * Designs solutions that translate effectively across cultures and geographies * Sensitive to regional dynamics, business maturity, and cultural context Minimum Required Qualifications/Experience * Bachelor’s degree required * Minimum 10+ years of experience in learning & development, talent development, organizational effectiveness, or related field * Demonstrated experience designing and delivering custom talent solutions in complex, global organizations * Experience partnering closely with HR Business Partners / Talent Partners and senior business leaders * Deep expertise in instructional design, adult learning theory, and experience design * Demonstrated ability to design end-to-end learning experiences (live, virtual, digital, blended) * Strong practical experience using AI tools to design, generate, and iterate learning content rapidly * Demonstrated ability to move from concept to deployment quickly with minimal structure * Experience delivering impactful solutions in ambiguous, fast-paced environments * Strong facilitation and delivery capability for leadership and professional audiences * High degree of autonomy and ownership; able to operate effectively with broad guidelines but limited direction * Strong initiative and bias for action; consistently identifies and solves problems proactively * Experience designing and delivering solutions across multiple geographies and cultures Highly Preferred Experience * Master’s degree in Organizational Development, Learning & Development, Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred * Proven track record supporting high-growth environments, transformation initiatives, or market expansion efforts * Ability to use AI to personalize learning experiences and increase speed, quality, and scalability * Familiarity with modern learning platforms (e.g., LXP environments, digital learning ecosystems) * Balances creativity with pragmatism to deliver solutions that are both innovative and executable * Ability to adapt content and approach to meet diverse regional needs while maintaining consistency and effectiveness across cultures and geographies.
