Premises Manager - Outstanding School in Norwich

An outstanding school in Norwich is looking for a capable Premises Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day operation, safety and maintenance of its campus.

This is a key position within the school, combining facilities management, compliance, contractor coordination and team leadership.

The Role

You will:

• Lead the premises and caretaking team.

• Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance.

• Manage contractors and external service providers.

• Monitor site security and building systems.

• Maintain statutory compliance records and schedules.

• Coordinate essential safety checks and inspections.

• Respond to emergencies and manage repairs.

• Work closely with senior leadership on site requirements and improvements.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will have previous premises or facilities experience, strong health and safety knowledge and excellent organisational skills. Experience within a school or public-sector environment would be beneficial.

You should be confident managing people, contractors and multiple priorities while maintaining a high standard across the site.
