Description Finance Coordinator, JDC Hungary Summary and Purpose:The Finance Coordinator is responsible for supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the organization in Hungary, ensuring compliance with internal policies, local regulations, and other requirements. The role works closely with program teams and the regional finance team in a dynamic international environment.Key Responsibilities:Check and approve due diligence documents of granteesSupport the admin team, answer their questions, advise on templates, due diligence, and other related issues (e.g. taxation; invoicing)Check supplier contracts related to JDC programs and book related invoicesCheck and book expense reports of employeesSupport the Finance team of the Szarvas Camp during the high season (June-September) on accounting, invoicing, reporting tasksAssist with regional reporting tasks in SAPEnsure backup coverage for team members (Finance manager and/or financial assistant)Work on other daily issues and projects with the Europe regional finance team.RequirementsEconomic University or Accounting College degree3-4 years of relevant professional experienceStrong English skillsStrong computer skills, professional knowledge of ExcelPrecise, proactive, trustworthy personAble to work in a team and also independentlyInterest in accounting complemented by project-oriented thinking and legal awarenessFast and systematical thinkingInterested in the Foundation’s activities, motivated to work for the nonprofit sectorChartered accountant- an advantageExperience in working with a multinational company- an advantageRegular availability during business days to support ongoing financial operations and respond to time-sensitive matters.What we offer:Friendly, multicultural environmentOffice in a central location in BudapestHybrid work arrangementCafeteria cardApplications:Please submit your CV in English.
