Residential and commercial property owners, now more than ever, realize how big a role Janitors play in protecting the health of tenants, guests, and vendors. So, Planned Companies Building Services (PBS) is looking to hire friendly and detail-oriented Janitors and Custodians to provide common area and bathroom cleaning services.

You\u2019ll be ensuring tenants, guests and vendors have a clean, healthy and safe property to live or work in. It\u2019s important to be polite and respectful as well as thorough and observant of what more can be done to provide the highest level of service.

\u00A0

Primary Job Responsibilities:

\u00A0

Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors of various types.\u00A0
Stripping, buffing and waxing floors of various types as well.
Dusting ceilings, light fittings, countertops, and loose furniture.\u00A0
Scrubbing and sanitizing bathroom toilets, sinks, and kitchen fixtures.\u00A0
Emptying trash cans as well as washing and drying windows.\u00A0
Requesting cleaning supply orders, reporting breakages and needed repairs.
Assisting building management with all projects and all other job duties as requested.

Requirements:

\u00A0

Willing to stand on your feet for extended periods of time. \u00AD\u00A0
Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more.
Experience in similar roles using cleaning products, equipment to clean floors and carpets. \u00AD\u00A0
Able to work on a team as well as independently when needed. \u00AD\u00A0
Strong report writing and clear verbal communication skills. \u00AD\u00A0
A High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
