Parts Advisor

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers professionally and understand their parts requirements.
• Advise customers on correct part numbers, prices, availability, and suitable alternatives.
• Provide customers with guidance on the use and care of parts and specialized products or services.
• Prepare accurate parts estimates and quotations.
• Follow approved credit terms and credit sales procedures for the Parts Dealers Network.
• Understand and apply Parts Return and Warranty Policies, as well as delivery timelines for customers and technicians.
• Prepare parts delivery orders, sales invoices, and related documentation.
• Assist with the planning and presentation of accessories displays.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional working area.
• Maintain accurate sales records to support inventory control and follow-up activities.
• Operate computerized inventory management, stock recording, and parts re-ordering systems.
• Prepare and follow up on Loss Sales Reports to identify unavailable or missed sales opportunities.
• Coordinate with the Ordering Section to arrange requested parts and follow up on lead times and delivery status.
• Communicate with workshop staff and other internal stakeholders to ensure timely availability of required parts.
• Support effective stock management and ensure accurate parts-related records are maintained.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Procurement & Stores Manager.

Role Purpose

To meet counter sales requirements and ensure efficient customer service while maintaining accurate parts inventory, sales records, and associated documentation. The role supports workshop operations and customer satisfaction by ensuring the right parts are identified, quoted, ordered, and delivered within the required timelines.

What We're Looking For:

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in automotive parts, spare parts sales, parts counter sales, dealership, or a comparable working environment.

Education: Diploma in Material Management, Supply Chain, Automotive, or a related field is preferred.

Languages: Fluency in English is essential; Arabic language skills are preferred.

Software Skills: Computer literate with strong knowledge of computerized inventory, warehouse, and parts management systems.

Technical Knowledge: Good knowledge of automotive spare parts, part numbers, pricing, availability, inventory control, ordering processes, returns, and warranty procedures.

Personal Attributes: Customer-focused, organized, detail-oriented, good communication skills, commercially aware, and able to work effectively with customers, workshop teams, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
