As an Onboarding Data Specialist at iCareManager, you will be a critical part of our System Implementation team, responsible for entering and managing sensitive data to help onboard new customers to our platform. This role demands exceptional attention to detail, strong knowledge of healthcare data, and a deep understanding of HIPAA compliance requirements.You will ensure all data is accurate, complete, and securely handled, while communicating clearly and professionally with customers throughout the onboarding process.Key Responsibilities:Accurately enter, migrate, and organize customer data (such as individual profiles, medical records, plans, and funding data) into the iCareManager system.Work closely with System Implementation Managers to understand each customer's specific data requirements, timelines, and unique needs.Conduct thorough data quality checks and validations to ensure accuracy and completeness.Prepare, clean, and format data received from customers according to iCareManager standards.Communicate progress, challenges, and clarifications proactively to the implementation team and directly to customers through weekly or ad-hoc meetings and email updates.Support post-entry quality assurance reviews and assist customer teams with data validation.Maintain strict confidentiality and protect sensitive information in accordance with HIPAA and internal data security policies.Document data entry processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.Why Join Us?Make a meaningful impact by supporting providers in delivering better services to individuals.Be part of a mission-driven, growing technology company with a supportive team culture.Play a vital role in transforming healthcare data into actionable, efficient workflows.RequirementsRequired: Minimum of 2 years of data entry experience, specifically handling medical or patient data.Required: Previous experience working with HIPAA-compliant data and understanding of HIPAA privacy and security rules.Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, health information management, business, or a related field.Familiarity with medical terminology, patient data, and healthcare-related terminology.Proficient in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills to interact confidently with customers and internal teams.Proficient in spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets) and comfortable working in web-based systems.Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.Strong organizational and time-management skills; ability to meet tight deadlines.Collaborative mindset and willingness to support overall team successAbility to work U.S. business hours.BenefitsCompetitive salary and benefits package.Paid Time off Performance Based BonusesA supportive and collaborative work culture.Growth opportunities within a dynamic and innovative organization.
