JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Board: Board Certified NP or PA (NCCPA for PAs; national certification for NPs)
  • Licenses: Active Virginia License, Active DEA
  • DEA / CDS: Active DEA required
  • Certifications: ACLS, BLS required
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years Hospital Medicine experience
  • Other Qualifications: Familiarity with Epic EMR, ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary team
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide day coverage as part of hospitalist team (7a-7p shift).
  • Round on patients and manage inpatient care.
  • Perform admissions and collaborate with admitting physicians.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary team including physicians, nurses, and APPs.
  • Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and order entry.
