As a Fab16S(Tainan) Equipment & Process Manager, you will lead and manage a team of equipment and process engineers to oversee the installation, modification, upgrade, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment, while ensuring robust process performance and stability. You will drive equipment reliability and process capability, analyze performance trends, and develop solutions to optimize yield, quality, and manufacturing efficiency. This role serves as a key interface between Equipment, Process, and Manufacturing teams to ensure seamless integration and sustained operation excellence. This role is also responsible for leveraging AI-enabled methodologies to enhance process control, predictive maintenance, and integration efficiency, aligning with Micron’s enterprise AI transformation. Responsibilities and Tasks * Forecast and budget equipment upkeep costs and process-related expenditures. Drive improvement activities to reduce overall equipment and process costs while maintaining performance. * Develop systems and procedures to ensure first-time success in PM execution, effective troubleshooting with low MTTR, optimized spare usage, and stable process recovery. * Monitor and improve equipment performance, process capability (e.g., CP/CPK), reliability, and yield. Lead root cause analysis for both equipment and process excursions and implement sustainable corrective actions. * Work closely with Manufacturing Managers to address equipment constraints, process bottlenecks, and OEE improvement opportunities. Optimize metrology and sampling strategies to meet quality standards and production requirements. * Drive process optimization initiatives, including recipe tuning, process window definition, and continuous improvement to enhance yield, throughput, and product quality. * Establish and monitor vendor performance metrics to drive quality, service, and cost improvements. Build strong partnerships with suppliers for both equipment and process-related support. * Set clear performance expectations for employees, conduct regular reviews, and develop team capability across both equipment and process domains. Foster ownership, accountability, and career development within the team. * Provide leadership and resources to ensure full compliance with Environmental, Health, Safety and Security (EHSS) requirements. Continuously improve EHSS practices related to both equipment operation and process safety. * Ensure proper housekeeping and best practices for tools, equipment, chemicals, and materials within the fab environment. * Ensure employees are properly trained with the required knowledge and competency in both equipment handling and process control to perform their tasks effectively.
