MedVet is seeking a Hospitalist to join our Salt Lake City, UT hospital.\u00A0The ideal candidate is a collaborative team player with strong communication skills and a proven ability to build relationships with colleagues, clients, and the referral community. Our hospital provides an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced ER veterinarians and specialists, supported by a highly skilled support\u00A0team, while delivering exceptional patient care.

In addition to 24/7 Emergency services, MedVet Salt Lake City offers specialty services in Cardiology, Critical Care, Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Neurology & Neurosurgery, Ophthalmology, Radiology, and Surgery.
We opened our beautiful, new 24,000-square-foot facility in 2020 and provide all the equipment and technology you need to give exceptional patient care. We added a Radiation Oncology department, including a Varian TrueBeam\u00AE linear accelerator.
You'll also have support from our highly skilled team of veterinary professionals that includes some of the most talented, compassionate, and experienced doctors in Utah.

Responsibilities include:\u00A0

Seeing same-day transfers from referring partners.
Overseeing\u00A0inpatients across\u00A0the hospital
Updating\u00A0clients and referral partners on patient\u00A0status.
Supporting\u00A0the\u00A0ER and surgery\u00A0with procedures, patient recoveries, records and communication both to clients and referral partners\u00A0if needed.
Working with the hospital leadership team\u00A0to improve workflow and standard operating procedures.
Contributing to the ongoing training of clinical team members.
Acting as a referral partner liaison to strengthen our relationships within the community
