  • Intravenous catheter placement, endotracheal\u00A0intubation\u00A0and anesthetic equipment use and maintenance\u00A0\u00A0

  • Thorough understanding of anesthetic considerations and how comorbidities affect case protocol and perioperative management\u00A0

  • Monitor\u00A0anesthesia, trouble\u00A0shoot anesthetic complications and make\u00A0appropriate interventions\u00A0

  • Continuous\u00A0expansion of\u00A0knowledge and skillset; advanced anesthetic skills include arterial line placement, epidurals, difficult airway intubation, and critical case management.\u00A0\u00A0

  • Assist\u00A0in patient procedures using\u00A0knowledge of anesthesia and analgesia related protocols and procedures, including formulating anesthetic plans tailored to individual patient needs.\u00A0\u00A0

  • Manage appointments,\u00A0obtain histories, medical record keeping, invoicing, patient discharges, etc.\u00A0

  • Intravenous catheter placement, endotracheal\u00A0intubation\u00A0and anesthetic equipment use and maintenance\u00A0\u00A0

  • Thorough understanding of anesthetic considerations and how comorbidities affect case protocol and perioperative management\u00A0

  • Monitor\u00A0anesthesia, trouble\u00A0shoot anesthetic complications and make\u00A0appropriate interventions\u00A0

  • Continuous\u00A0expansion of\u00A0knowledge and skillset; advanced anesthetic skills include arterial line placement, epidurals, difficult airway intubation, and critical case management.\u00A0\u00A0

  • Lean on\u00A0thorough\u00A0understanding of physiology and pharmacology to\u00A0facilitate\u00A0delivery of\u00A0appropriate anesthetic\u00A0care for\u00A0high risk\u00A0patients or procedures.\u202F\u00A0\u00A0

Who\u00A0you are:\u202F\u00A0

  • State Registered Veterinary Technician license\u00A0required\u00A0

  • Prior veterinary experience\u00A0required,\u00A0previous\u00A0Anesthesia experience desired\u00A0

  • Proficient\u00A0in\u00A0calculations\u00A0(drugs, constant rate infusions, unit conversions, etc.)\u00A0

  • Flexibility with work hours and able to work\u00A0additional\u00A0hours when necessary\u00A0

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment\u00A0
