We are looking for a passionate Material Planner who thrives on ensuring the seamless flow of materials that power sustainable mobility. You will collaborate with dedicated teams to design and implement efficient supply chain solutions that keep our projects on track and our cities moving. This role demands ownership, precision, and a drive to make a tangible impact every day.
Your Role, Your Impact
- Follow up deliveries and ensure material availability for Alstom projects;
- Monitor supplier performance and contribute to improvement actions when needed;
- Create and maintain Material Planning documents, including Call-offs, Schedule Agreements and Source Lists;
- Identify supply risks and priorities and implement recovery actions;
- Maintain regular communication with suppliers regarding delivery status;
- Analyse and manage MRP exception messages and anticipate supply issues such as shortages, backlogs or no demand;
- Maintain delivery dates in the ERP system;
- Track missing parts until stock availability is confirmed;
- Support the replacement process for non-conforming materials;
- Resolve receiving issues, including shortages, overstock, damaged goods and documentation discrepancies.
You'll work with sharp, committed teams solving complex challenges that shape the future of mobility, ensuring seamless integration of business and technology.
What You Bring
- Good knowledge of supply chain and experience in a relevant position;
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP;
- Experience with MS Office – Excel;
- Degree level qualification;
- Fluency in English, German - is a plus;
- Good communication, collaboration and analytical skills;
- Ability to work in a multicultural and multidisciplinary environment;
- Ability to manage and prioritize own workload.
