Job description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Conduct time studies, motion studies, and work measurement.
Support New Product Introduction (NPI) from concept through production.
Balance production lines to maximize productivity.
Analyze manufacturing capacity and identify bottlenecks.
Improve labor utilization and manufacturing efficiency.
Optimize factory layout, workstation ergonomics, and material flow.
Develop labor standards and production capacity planning.
Develop mechanical designs using CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo, or equivalent).
Drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives including:
5S
Kaizen
Value Stream Mapping
SMED
Waste Reduction
Visual Management
Support inventory reduction and continuous flow manufacturing.
Education & Experience
- B.Sc. Electronics Engineering (Physics, Electrical and related can apply).
- At least 3 years of experience in Semiconductor or Electronics / Optoelectronics and Fiber optics Industry.
Skills
- Leadership capabilities to manage a virtual team or xxxxx
- Possess strong interpersonal skills and enjoy the process of problem-solving
- Work effectively with other members of Coherent Corp. xxxxx.
