You will play a meaningful role in ensuring our engineering labs and tools operate at world-class standards, helping us to consistently meet and exceed customer expectations! A Manager - Global Engineering Labs is responsible in managing and leading a group of motivated technicians and engineers in setting up & maintaining engineering labs, tools and lab infrastructure that are meeting specific requirements and audits. You are expected to work closely with lab stakeholders and cross functional team in where you provide your expertise in meeting the customers' requirements. Leading your team in lab infrastructure, tools set-up, maintenance, various compliance requirements, financial and budget planning. ## Responsibilities: * Direct, encourage, define targets, and lead a group of skilled engineers and technicians. * Guide engineers and technicians in maintaining various engineering tools and lab operations to adhere to strict standards. * Improve equipment uptime and adopt established approaches for engineering tools and lab operations. * Coordinate with collaborators to determine engineering equipment and lab infrastructure requirements. * Optimize lab space and ensure flawless practices for lab layout and build planning. * Lead the local team in adopting and deploying Global GEL initiatives and BKMs. * Monitor important metrics and drive continuous improvements with proven BKMs. * Lead internal and external lab audits to ensure compliance and audit readiness at all times. * Manage engineering product tracking and collaborate with team members to enforce lab security measures. * Cultivate a growth mindset and foster a positive work culture within the organization. ## Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree or equivalent in engineering or a related field * At least 8 years of experience in semiconductor engineering managing Electrical Failure Analysis equipment of Physical Failure Analysis * Significant background in semiconductor lab configuration, engineering equipment systems, and current industry insights * Demonstrated success in technical and leadership mentorship * Strong communication and leadership skills * Experience working in lab and engineering support for semiconductor high-volume manufacturing sites Join us at Micron to be part of a dedicated team where your skills will be honed, and your career will flourish!
