Deloitte Global is the engine of the Deloitte network. Our professionals reach across disciplines and borders to develop and lead global initiatives. We deliver strategic programs and services that unite our organization.
What will your typical day look like?
This role leads the discovery, definition, delivery, governance, and adoption of data products for a strategic initiative to build Deloitte Global's Data Platform. It blends product ownership, business analysis, and data discovery expertise with a working understanding of how well-structured data underpins modern AI and agentic capabilities.
The Manager will own business use cases from intake through implementation, partnering with business stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams to shape scalable, trusted, AI-ready data products. Success in this role means being equally comfortable running structured requirements sessions and navigating ambiguity — translating technical depth into recommendations that business and technology leaders can act on.
Product Ownership & Delivery Leadership
- Own the end-to-end lifecycle of Global Data Platform (GDP) use cases and data products — from intake through implementation, business adoption, and ongoing enhancement
- Partner with the Product Manager to intake, triage, and prioritize requests across business domains and the GDP roadmap
- Lead cross-functional delivery teams of business stakeholders, data engineers, data modelers, and subject matter experts to deliver against commitments
- Coordinate contributors across business and technology teams to drive alignment, accountability, and timely execution
- Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and guidance to business analysts and project contributors supporting GDP initiatives
- Ensure delivered solutions stay aligned with GDP strategy, enterprise architecture standards, and business priorities
Business & Data Requirements Analysis
- Translate business use cases into well-defined product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Develop and maintain Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), process flows, and business rules
- Analyze business processes, data structures, relationships, and system integrations to pinpoint required data elements and authoritative sources
- Analyze complex enterprise datasets — SAP, Salesforce, Finance, and others — to surface gaps, inconsistencies, and transformation needs
- Build and maintain source-to-target mapping documentation, transformation logic, calculation requirements, and data quality expectations
- Support testing strategy, test case definition, user acceptance testing (UAT), and defect triage through deployment
Stakeholder Engagement, Platform Thinking & AI Enablement
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to define business outcomes, KPIs, success metrics, requirements, dependencies, and delivery priorities
- Engage credibly with a wide range of stakeholders — business leaders and users, risk, legal, and data privacy teams, and engineering — and turn their input into concrete design and implementation decisions
- Apply platform thinking to judge when a data solution should be built as a reusable, governed capability rather than a one-off fix
- Ground data product decisions in an understanding of how data fuels AI and agentic use cases — including data structuring and context provisioning — and emerging patterns like Model Context Protocol (MCP), so products are ready for both analytics and AI consumption
- Work through ambiguity, structuring undefined problems and pushing decisions forward as requirements, standards, and technology patterns continue to evolve
- Prepare and deliver executive-ready presentations, recommendations, and status updates, adjusting depth and style to the audience
