We are looking to add a Mat Maker/Machine operator to our manufacturing team in Crosby, TX who will be responsible for operating stamping presses and equipment used in the production of molded rubber products.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

Job Type: <\/span>Full-time, permanent<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

Schedule: 12 hour Rotating shift, 7 on 7 off -- Day Shift<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n

  • Operate equipment used in the production of molded rubber products. Regulate molding temperature, volume, pressure, and time.<\/span><\/li>\n

  • Load, set up, and operate stamping presses to run production and produce quality output.<\/span><\/li>\n

  • Ensure safety equipment is supplied by NWR properly and set the example by leading.<\/span><\/li>\n

  • Report damaged or malfunctioning equipment to supervisors and or maintenance staff immediately.<\/span><\/li>\n

  • Record machine downtime and assist maintenance personnel during troubleshooting and repair.<\/span><\/li>\n

  • Understand the mixing process well enough to run it (and demonstrate);<\/span><\/li>\n

  • Understand targets and promote their achievement. Ability to document and explain target misses.<\/span><\/li>\n

  • Able to start up/shut down plant equipment (lights, compressors, cells).<\/span>

    • High School Diploma or equivalent.<\/span><\/li>\n

    • Minimum 3-5 years of previous relevant experience.<\/span><\/li>\n

    • Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently.<\/span><\/li>\n

    • Prior Experience operating production equipment in a Manufacturing environment.<\/span><\/li>\n

    • Pre-Screen Substance test and Background check required. <\/span>

      Experience:<\/span><\/p>\n

      • Experienced in operating presses, injection molding, or die casting equipment. <\/span><\/li>\n
