The Leopardo team is growing and looking for a Superintendent I to grow with us as a Traveler!Summary: As a Superintendent I, you will have the opportunity to run day-to-day field operations as you plan, direct, and coordinate designated project activities. This includes subcontractor/vendor coordination activities and quality control.\u00A0Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate daily subcontractor, foremen, and self-perform activities\u00A0
  • Initiate a project quality plan to monitor initiatives, document associated observations and ensure compliance to work quality standards\u00A0
  • Verify field conditions by conducting daily jobsite walkthroughs in addition to daily safe work plans and toolbox talks\u00A0
  • Monitor the detailed master schedule, create two-week look ahead, and track critical dates of all activities affecting the project completion\u00A0
  • Coordinate and participate in pre-construction, weekly, and post-construction meetings\u00A0
  • Review construction documents, maintain on-site and in PlanGrid\u00A0
  • Generate pre-punch and punch lists, determine responsible subcontractors and ensure timely completion\u00A0
  • Build and nurture relationships with clients/owners, architects, developers, and subcontractors\u00A0
  • Actively promote Leopardo through participation in presenting new projects\u00A0
  • Assist in recruiting and training efforts\u00A0
Education / Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor\u2019s degree from four-year college or university in construction, engineering, architecture or related fields preferred and/or equivalent training and experience\u00A0
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience as a construction Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent and a clear understanding of the business side of construction\u00A0
  • Comprehensive understanding of all divisions of work, methods, materials, scheduling and cost control\u00A0
  • Competency in construction technologies such as: scheduling software (Asta), daily reporting (Raken), Bluebeam, PlanGrid. Ability to read and understand blueprints\u00A0
Supervisory Requirements: A Superintendent I is responsible for managing the project.Certifications, Licenses, Registrations: OSHA 30 Hour certification and First Aid/CPR certification are a plus.\u00A0Benefits\u00A0

  • Coordinate daily subcontractor, foremen, and self-perform activities\u00A0
  • Initiate a project quality plan to monitor initiatives, document associated observations and ensure compliance to work quality standards\u00A0
  • Verify field conditions by conducting daily jobsite walkthroughs in addition to daily safe work plans and toolbox talks\u00A0
  • Monitor the detailed master schedule, create two-week look ahead, and track critical dates of all activities affecting the project completion\u00A0
  • Coordinate and participate in pre-construction, weekly, and post-construction meetings\u00A0
  • Review construction documents, maintain on-site and in PlanGrid\u00A0
  • Generate pre-punch and punch lists, determine responsible subcontractors and ensure timely completion\u00A0
  • Build and nurture relationships with clients/owners, architects, developers, and subcontractors\u00A0
  • Actively promote Leopardo through participation in presenting new projects\u00A0
  • Assist in recruiting and training efforts\u00A0
Education / Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor\u2019s degree from four-year college or university in construction, engineering, architecture or related fields preferred and/or equivalent training and experience\u00A0
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience as a construction Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent and a clear understanding of the business side of construction\u00A0
  • Comprehensive understanding of all divisions of work, methods, materials, scheduling and cost control\u00A0
  • Competency in construction technologies such as: scheduling software (Asta), daily reporting (Raken), Bluebeam, PlanGrid. Ability to read and understand blueprints\u00A0
Supervisory Requirements: A Superintendent I is responsible for managing the project.Certifications, Licenses, Registrations: OSHA 30 Hour certification and First Aid/CPR certification are a plus.\u00A0Benefits\u00A0
