We are looking for an experiencedLegal Counselto support our FMCG operations in Indonesia, working closely with business leaders in a fast‑paced, regulated environment
A Day In The Life As Legal Counsel
- Act as astrategic legal advisorto internal stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, HR, QA, and Corporate Affairs
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range ofcommercial agreements, including distribution, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, marketing, promotions, and services
- Provide legal advice oncorporate, commercial, and regulatory matters, including consumer protection, food law, advertising & labeling, and compliance obligations
- Supportcorporate governancematters (board/shareholder documentation, internal policies, regulatory filings)
- Assess and managelegal risks, proposing pragmatic, business‑oriented solutions
- Manage disputes and litigation in coordination withexternal counsel
- Engage withregulators and authoritieswhere required and support regulatory inspections or inquiries
- Monitor legal and regulatory developments impacting the FMCG industry and proactively advise the business
What make you successful
- Bachelor’s degree in Law; advocate license is an advantage
- Minimum 8 years of legal experience, with a combination of:
- Top‑tierlaw firm experience, and
- In‑house experience withinFMCG / consumer goods / manufacturing
- Strong expertise incommercial contracts, corporate law, and regulatory compliance
- Solid understanding of the Indonesian legal and regulatory environment
- Able to translate complex legal issues intopractical business advice
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills
- Fluent inBahasa Indonesia and English
- Proactive, independent, and comfortable working in a matrix, multi‑stakeholder environment
