Specialty coffee and restaurant experience is a requirement!Coffee Dose is not your grandma's coffee shop. Though we offer the same quality of drinks as a third-wave cafe, we make it a fun and unforgettable experience. Coffee Dose is a safe place for the coffee connoisseur, the instagrammer, and the basic b*tch. The Lead Barista is responsible for providing leadership, direction, and support to the team, as well as making schedules, enforcing procedures, making sure the cafe is running efficiently, being the point of contact between staff & upper management, and ensuring guest satisfaction.Our ideal candidate:Does not think cussing is unprofessional (our coffee is filtered, we are not)Embraces the vision and culture of Coffee Dose.Not afraid to do any job.Ensures that store is operating at or above standardsWorks closely with the teams and general manager to ensure daily upkeep, streamlined communication, and excellent customer serviceCan step in as acting manager when neededHas strong leadership skills, is as good at taking direction as they are giving direction, and can think quickly on their feetDetail orientedStrong customer service skillsJob Duties:Ensuring staff members are taking breaksAssisting customers with complaints or concernsAssisting with ordering Working with the store manager for day-to-day operationsEnsuring quality drinks and products are being served Perform regular barista duties, including register and customer service Perform other duties, as assigned Pay: $19.50-$20.50/hour, plus tips averaging an additional $4-6 an hourSkills and Qualifications:Previous coffee experienceExperience as a lead / supervisor Ability to work in high-pressure + fast-paced environmentsWell-organized and detail-orientedExperience in, and an ability to use a Point of Sale (POS) systemEffective problem solving/decision making skillsExcellent interpersonal, leadership, and verbal communication skillsJob Schedule: Full-time, approximately 40 hours a week, must be able to work weekends and holidays.
