Job description
Key tasks:
- Maintain existing customer relationships to ensure stable commercial cooperation and long-term business continuity.
- Participate in commercial negotiations triggered by technical changes to ensure price adjustments are reasonable and accepted by customers.
- Develop customer-specific pricing strategies to meet group profitability requirements and secure customer acceptance in highly competitive markets.
- Lead quotation and price negotiation for toll manufacturing, pre-series material processing, and after-sales service projects.
- Coordinate with internal R&D, procurement, and technical departments to advance commercial terms related to technical changes.
- Prepare sales contracts, lead internal approval processes, and negotiate contract terms with customers.
- Initiate cost recovery discussions with customers in case of significant volume reductions or special events to minimize financial risks.
- Track customer order execution, verify pricing prior to delivery, and ensure timely and accurate settlement after shipment.
- Maintain sales master data in SAP and create Sales Orders (SO) and Sales Agreements (SA).
- Support Finance in monthly closing, overdue receivables collection, and coordinate internal warranty claim processes.
Qualification and skills required for the position:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- A relevant professional qualification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, key account management, or commercial roles within a manufacturing environment; experience in global markets and multinational corporations is preferred.
- Strong understanding of sales processes, pricing strategies, and contract management.
- Chinese native speaker and fluent in English, German is a plus.
- Ability to work independently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and a structured approach.
