Join NSF as a Junior Graphic Designer. As a Junior Graphic Designer, you will play an important role in bringing our global brand to life across digital, print, social media, events, and marketing communications.
This is an exciting opportunity for an early-career creative professional who is passionate about design, visual storytelling, and brand consistency. Working as part of NSF’s collaborative Brand Team, you’ll partner closely with Marketing, Communications, Web, and business stakeholders to develop compelling visual content that supports our mission and engages audiences around the world.

This is a hybrid position, requiring team members to work onsite three days per week at NSF’s headquarters in Ann Arbor, Michigan, while offering flexibility to work the remainder of the week remotely.

- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Multimedia Design, or a related creative field
- 1-3 years of graphic design experience through corporate, agency, freelance, internship, or related professional work
- Proficiency in Creative Cloud, including Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe InDesign
- Strong understanding of typography, color theory, layout, composition, and visual hierarchy
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- A portfolio showcasing a range of multimedia design work is required for consideration
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Experience creating PowerPoint presentations and executive-level presentation materials
- Knowledge of social media design best practices and digital marketing content creation
- Design and develop marketing and communications materials across digital and print channels, including brochures, flyers, advertisements, presentations, social media graphics, email assets, and event materials
- Create engaging visual content that supports marketing campaigns, thought leadership initiatives, and brand-building efforts
- Adapt and optimize existing creative assets for different audiences, regions, channels, and platforms
- Apply NSF brand standards consistently across all deliverables while helping maintain and evolve brand guidelines, templates, and visual assets
- Collaborate with Brand, Marketing, Communications, and Web teams to understand project requirements and deliver creative solutions that meet business objectives
- Assist with quality assurance reviews to ensure design accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand standards
- Support the organization, tagging, and maintenance of brand assets and creative libraries
- Help improve design templates, creative workflows, and self-service resources for internal stakeholders
- Partner with external creative agencies, print vendors, and production partners as needed
- Support multimedia content creation, including graphics for web, social media, video, and digital marketing channels
