The Role

As Caretaker, you'll be responsible for ensuring the school site remains safe, secure, and well maintained while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the premises.

Responsibilities include:

• Locking and securing the school each evening

• Carrying out general maintenance and basic DIY

• Completing routine health and safety checks

• Ensuring the buildings and grounds are clean, safe, and well presented

• Reporting maintenance issues and liaising with contractors where required

• Supporting the overall security and upkeep of the school site

Contract & Hours

Location:Brent

Contract:Full-time, temporary-to-permanent (initial 3-month agency contract). A permanent contract may be offered to the right candidate.

Hours:

• Monday to Friday:4:00pm – 10:00pm (30-minute unpaid break)

• Sunday:8:30am – 11:30am and 4:30pm – 7:30pm

Start Date:ASAP

About You

To be considered, you must have previous experience working within a school environment as a Caretaker, Site Manager, Premises Officer, or similar.

You'll be reliable, practical, and confident working independently, taking pride in maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for pupils, staff, and visitors.
