Operator - Transfer Station Auburn NSW Afternoon Shift 2PM start – Monday to Friday (weekend work available) Full-time Permanent role The Opportunity We’re looking for a skilled Operator to join our team at our Auburn Transfer Station. This hands-on role is ideal for someone heavy machinery experience keen to contribute to essential waste operations that support the local environment. Some of the responsibilities are as below. Operate machinery (Forklift – essential; excavators and bulldozers – preferred or willing to learn) Assist drivers and the public with correct load placement Load and move dry waste for compaction and coverage Safely operate vehicles and equipment in line with procedures Assist with general housekeeping duties Maintain a professional image and always deliver high quality customer service About You Plant Operator tickets Strong work ethic and reliable attendance Good mechanical aptitude and committed to safety Able to work independently and as part of a team Positive attitude and good communication skills Wiliness to assist co-workers as required Intermediate computer skills About Us Join us at Cleanaway and contribute to making a sustainable future possible, together.
