Lead site safety and ensure compliance with Cleanaway safety systems and procedures Manage Mobile Plant & People Interaction (MPPI) controls and traffic management Conduct toolbox talks, safety inspections and incident investigations Oversee waste intake from the trucks, managing the outbound flow of materials and ensuring optimal use of site resources. Direct the public tipping process, managing the flow of trucks on-site and maintaining a safe, orderly environment. Manage the logistics of waste products coming into and out of the plant, ensuring proper documentation and efficient processing. Monitor site throughput, waste segregation and stockpile management, ensuring customer vehicles are processed efficiently and safely Lead, train, and support a dedicated team, handling scheduling and staff needs to ensure adequate coverage and peak efficiency. About You We are looking for a hands-on leader who enjoys working in a fast-paced operational environment. Have experience in yellow gear Proven experience in an operations or supervisory role, ideally within a landfill, mining, logistics, or waste management environment is desirable. Strong leadership skills with experience in staff management and scheduling, with a focus on safety and productivity. Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with team members, contractors, and the public. Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
